May 1996 – “Zappalà” theatre
of Palermo – he
played the ballad of Luciano Violante about the dead kids killed by the mafia.
October 1999 – contract with RAI (the first national network) for the
show GEO&GEO. Mr. DiPino has presented a tale in Sicilian dialect of its
own composition.
May 2001 – VI International Festival “Art & School” – he
has been the first classified, plus a Special Award for its emotive strength
and for the originality of music.
30 July 2001 – performance for RAI UNO (national network)for the show
Superquark presented by Piero Angela.
July 2001 – second contract with RAI TRE (national network) about the
service “Love and Hate for Etna” (GEO&GEO)
July 2001 – contract with 2DF (second German network) for a service about
Etna.
3 August 2001 – he received the International
Award “Castagno dei
100 Cavalli” for the music section, with him Lucio Dalla (great Italian
Artist) who received the award for the literature section.
October 2001 – contract with Swiss National
Network for a service about
the “Castagno dei 100 cavalli”
He’s been a guest of the show “Teatriamo” for 24 episodes,
on-air by Sicilia Intenational. It’s been seen in 21 countries all around
the world.
December 2001 – January 2002 – he debuts to the “Zig Zag” Theatre.
A kid’s show entitled “Giufà e lu Cicireddu”. It’s
been repeated for eight weeks.
TV shows like Partime and Bus, by Antenna
Sicilia (Sicilian Network) have dedicated
various specials about him.
He’s also been guest of TV shows like “In Casa” and “Sala
Stampa”.
4 February 2002 – he had a performance in the TV show “Insieme”(Antenna
Sicilia), presenting a story about St. Agata, the patroness of Catania.
16 February 2002 – he was in the TV show “Linea Verde”, RAIDUE (national network).
March 2002 – Live Tour in USA (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware), the
3rd the 5th and 13th at Philadelphia and the 15th at New
York.
16 July 2002 – he gained a big success at Roma, in a live concert to
Castel Sant’Angelo. A great representation entitled “Made in Sicily”,
many great Sicilian artist have participated, amongst which there was Pippo
Baudo.
01-03 August 2002 – live concerts at Palazzolo Acreide and Buscemi, for
the review “Lithos” directed by Carlo
Muratori.
December 2002 – Live Tour in Queensland, Australia. Around 20 dates with
best success in Tully, Innisfal, Ingham, Cairns, Ayr, Stanthorpe, Gold
Coast and Brisbane.
In 2003 he is permanently guest of the TV show “Sport
e Spettacolo”,
transmitted by Video Mediterraneo (EuroMed), a satellite network.

He
is a scheming and persuasive artist with many experiences in figurative,
theatrical, poetic and musical field. He is a compositor and author as well,
regularly affiliate to SIAE (…) with more than 100 songs.
His most mature artistic expression is to be a “Cantastorie” (ballad-singer),
a figure awkward to the Sicilian tradition which expresses the main communication
forms: painting, poetry, music and theatre.
He’s had a lot of live concerts taking the Sicilian tradition all over
the world, in the Northern Italy and overseas. He’s appeared in the main
national network.
