ANDY WARHOL - - BENEATH THE VOLCANO

Andy Warhol in Naples while he's painting a picture of his own range called: Vesuvius by Warhol.
Just the Empire State Building, if suddenly would get burn, it could be compared to the Vesuvio's image. - Said "Andy Warhol" describing his feelings about the great Naples volcano. An attraction for Warhol that has generated a range of pictures where the Vesuvio is treated in the same way of a contemporary icon, like Marilyn Monroe as well as a Coca-Cola bottle.
A great fascination struck the American artist who claims that he painted those pictures "cause the image of eruption was upsetting". Perhaps that's why he decided to hand-made painting all the pictures. One by one, almost claiming, with that same repetitive behaviour, the strength and vitality of an out-of-time symbol.
